A 61-year-old man from Pacifica was pulled over for speeding and crossing double-yellow lines. The man failed sobriety tests and was arrested for driving while drunk.

A 15-year-old boy was yelling and acting strangely in the middle of a shopping center. The teen was on probation, and deputies deduced he was drunk. He was arrested and later released to a guardian.
2:05 a.m., March 30, Highway 1
Sheriff’s deputies noticed a driver stopped on the street, then drove forward, and then back in reverse. As the deputy drove closer, the car was stopped at a green light before making a left turn onto Highway 1. After being pulled over, the driver appeared to be under the influence. The woman, a 47-year-old out of Montara, was in possession of a glass pipe and a bag of cocaine with a straw. She was arrested and taken to jail.
March 30, Spruce Street
A Half Moon Bay resident called authorities to report a series of harassing phone calls. The complainant said that he had been receiving calls from what sounded like a child for the last two months. Deputies told the victim to contact the phone company.
6:57 p.m., March 28, Main Street
A woman called 911 and hung up. When a dispatcher called her back, the woman explained that her ex-boyfriend had shown up at her residence three days earlier in violation of a restraining order. Sheriff’s deputies later arrested the 34-year-old man for violating the restraining order.
12:30 p.m., March 29, Johnson Pier
A woman contacted a website for computer help, and a technician agreed to help her. She gave the man remote access to her computer. After he logged into her computer, he asked for 0 for his help. She refused that price as too expensive and ended the call. But after the call, she could see on her screen that he still had access to her computer. She was concerned that he was accessing her personal information, and she contacted her banks to change her passwords.
10 p.m., March 28, Capistrano Road
Deputies stopped a 53-year-old Montara man and found that he was wanted on a misdemeanor warrant from San Mateo County. He was released on his promise to appear in court.
